Will Smith
One of my favorite actors is Will Smith. We was one of the only rappers that my parents said that I could listen to. I think that that was way back in the late eighties and early nineties. He was really good. One of the first CD’s that I ever bought was Will Smith as the DJ, I’m the Rapper. Then Will Smith came out with the smash song Parents Just Don’t Understand. This is the one that really launched his career. We all knew that he was talented and that he would be much more than just a rapper. In the early ninties, he met up with Quincy Jones and together they made the hit show the Fresh Prince of Bell Air. This was the beginnings of a movie legend. The first movie that he did, was called Six Degrees of Separation, starring him and Donald Sutherland. It was really strange, and he played the part of a quick talking con man. After that and a few years after the start of the Fresh Prince TV series, he started to get into some movies. His major movie first was, Made in America with Whoopee Goldberg and Ted Danson. This was a really funny movie. Later Will Smith became a major star and his movies make billions of dollars. Men in Black, Independence Day, I am Legend, Wild Wild West, Bad Boys, Pursuit of Happiness, Enemy of the State…the list goes on.
